Reporting to and in partnership with the Executive Director (ED), the Development Director will spearhead fundraising and development efforts as Willowstone Family Services continues to grow.

You actively and constantly listen to all constituents, focus especially on donor needs and know how to identify mutual benefits. You communicate excellently and compel audiences through writing and speaking.
Develop and execute Willowstone Family Services’ annual fundraising plan
Secure financial support from individuals, foundations and corporations
Manage the implementation of Fundraiser software and process data entry, gift processing, and acknowledgement.
Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with major donors
Identify and build relationships with new and prospective donors
Administer signature fundraising and donor stewardship events
Make direct, face-to-face solicitations
Recruit, train, and support key volunteers to assist in advancement efforts
Communicate fundraising goals throughout the organization and equip team members to reach them
Communicate Willowstone Family Services’ goals, outcomes, needs and opportunities utilizing all forms of communication including public speaking, social media, email and mail campaigns, and networking conversations.
Develop and track proposals and reports for all foundation and corporate fundraising
B.A. (required), M.A. (a plus), Five-plus years of experience in fund development
Knowledge of Fundraiser software and the development process.
