The Finance Director is a strategic thought-partner who reports to the executive director (ED). As a hands-on and participative manager, the Finance Director leads and develops an internal system of oversight that supports the administration in the following areas: financial management, business planning and budgeting, human resources, and billing administration. The Finance Director will be a member of the leadership team to assist with strategic decision making and operations as Willowstone Family Services continues to enhance its quality programming and build capacity.
Minimum of a BA, ideally with an MBA/CPA or related degree
At least seven to 10 years of overall professional experience; ideally six-plus years of broad financial and operations management experience.
Experience and ability to hold final responsibility for the quality and content of all financial data, reporting and audit coordination for the agency, and has preferably overseen a human resources function previously.
Ability to translate financial concepts to all staff regardless of financial experience.
Technology savvy with experience selecting and overseeing software; knowledge of accounting and reporting software.
A successful track record in setting priorities; keen analytic, organization and problem solving skills which support and enable sound decision making.
Excellent communication and relationship building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

Visit with new parents in their homes weekly
Focus on parent-child interaction, child development, and family function
Ability to provide crisis intervention and linkage to community resources
Demonstrate good interpersonal skills
Demonstrate good written communication skills
Some college, and a degree is preferred
Have experience working with children and families
Ability to work a flexible schedule. No nights or weekends
